Tomorrow Never Dies is more complex than earlier Bond screenplays, Dr. No, Thunderball, Goldfinger, From Russia With Love or Goldeneye. It is an excellent example of pursuit scenario where the protagonist (Bond) and antagonist (Carver) cross paths throughout the script (Act II onwards). The antagonist also has a surrogate fighter (Stamper) for Bond to continuously battle and defeat. In Act III, two Sequences are used for Bond to kill Carver and Stamper.
