Thunderball Screenplay Sequence-Scene Structure
Thunderball is similar to Goldfinger and Tomorrow Never Dies in that Bond interacts with the villain (Largo) from just before the Mid-Point onwards. Thunderball ties up loose ends as the story progresses. For instance, after Count Lipee has substituted the imposter NATO pilot, Fiona summarily dispenses him with her motorcycle grenade launcher. Fiona and Vargas follow the same fate. As is often the case with Bond scripts, the audience knows more about what's going on than Bond.
