Blade Runner Structure

Blade Runner is an ideal balance of thriller and love story in a science fiction setting. Act I is a classic set up of who the villains are, introduction of the reluctant protagonist and we get to meet his love interest and her vulnerability in Act I. Act II weaves the love story into the back and forth of a pursuit-chase structure. Act III presents the final confrontation.
