Look Back in Anger was written for film by Nigel Kneale with John Osbourne from Osbourne's play of the same name. It is a masterpiece in drama structure, dialogue and tension, that needed the acting capabilities for the part of Jimmy best left to Richard Burton. Look Back in Anger is one of the first Kitchen Sink Realism plays and Angry Young Men dramas that emerged out of post-war Great Britain, but still simmers in communities in the United States, from tea party members to unemployed workers to immigrants.
